Die Leute auf dem Bild haben wir auf der Tour kennen gelernt (von links: Andrea aus Chicago, Antonio ist ursprünglich aus Spanien, lebt aber schon seit 51 Jahren in Adelaide, she knows the next two and the last of the bunch is Valerie, she is the wife of Antonio and comes from Adelaide. In any case, this was a beautiful day when we remember back to us later, like when we're old and gray and sitting in our rocking chair by the fireplace.
11/27/2010 (Sat) Very bad weather (rain and storm) and thus 1 days longer in Adelaide; na girls, what woman does not like it? Right!! Shopping ... :), Since it lends itself naturally, that the outlet shopping center is right outside the tent door:) There should be inferred nice after the shopping was, we still made a little trip to the northern tip of Adelaide, which is a peninsula is. When we arrived back at camp, we still have a Abendspatziergang the resident river made.
28/11/2010 (Sun) Departure from Adelaide -> drive to Hahndorf (is one of the largest cities in Australia with roots dt), unfortunately it was still early in the morning to drink beer to dt, so we have a pretzel and indulged bee sting - which does not do anything to bring the home to a little down under (the the first settlers have thought then determined). After the letters went home in the McLaren Vale, which turned out to be not very rewarding. Therefore, we continued our journey along the Peninsula and it was later and later, of course, had her a camp spot, we found a few nerves and lost eternal search then (Rapid Bay). But the view and the fact that he is for both of us only 12 $ all cost has broken out again:).
11/29/2010 (Mon) know drive to Victor Harbour, you have that we do in every major city and a stop us The tourist office über den Ort und die Umgebung erkundigen. Since we had not of course think twice. Overall, we spent 4 hours (up to 24 Clock) together and have talked about God and the world (her husband (Oscar) is originally from Austria, but has lived 50 years in Australia, she is a native Australian and is named Helen).
11/30/2010 (Tue) Our next ride in the direction of Mount Gambier was rather boring, but you could see beautiful lakes and salt Pelicans observed but it was just a run of only Many. You must know that it is after a few days, simply nothing special, it's just once on the road. ... Of course it's not quite as bad as described, it is fantastic to explore the area where normally no backpacker goes, as we had a beach all to ourselves (as seen by human side, because there were too many flies present) and what does not like a German traveler, if he is now already on the last eight months? Well ... partying to DJ Ötzi (a star with your name):) ... (Oh man, that was fun!). We have stayed about 30km from Mount Gambier in the middle of a free campsite in the village.
01/12/2010 (Wed ) Arrival at Mount Gambier, this city is built in, or around an extinct volcano, it has beautiful gardens and a "Blue Lake", which changes color twice a year (in November, he is turquoise blue, and in April he discolored deep gray). This natural phenomenon, we looked more closely and how you can see the pictures, it is fantastically beautiful, even if one could think at the coal mine or just any other quarry to be (with the exception of the fascinating color). After we went to Port McDonnell, this fishing village has a beautiful coastline, but nothing useful to return, so we were forced to go on. On the way to the quarters for the night we saw 20 kangaroos, which were like old people on the street and watched the traffic. It seems the pace for the state and give sinners a rubdown work - they were further supported by two more huge emus. ... How could it be otherwise we have returned to a free campsite slept, this was about 30 km behind Nelson in the direction of Victoria.
02/12/2010 (Thu) Short visit to Portland and then we went to Warrnambool. This city is famous for its more than 700 Schrifffracks (looks great with 3 f's) known. As we most of the afternoon spent so that had a new hammer to find a night we decided to stay longer in place.
12.03.2010 (Friday) it was in bright sunshine in the small and not so peaceful city. The day we have still finished with a walk in the nearby park and local maze.
