Here is a brief interim update before the next journey. That next week the update comes in all probability something later.
29th-01.11.2010 On Tuesday it goes with Yelena and Campnell for 10 days after Tasmania. After these 10 days it goes for Marlene and I go exploring until mid December, the South and the East Coast.
For this reason, nor does the recent purchases for "Schulzi", such as ice boxes and storage boxes. Besides a small house and garden wall was made to fall outside the new house sitter from the clouds. In addition, added with Marla Yelena some curtains for "Schulzi" sewed and I picked a few car deals for Tasmania. In the evening, Campbell has a delegation that made Toblerone Cocktail ... God was the delicious ...:) Otherwise, Romeo and Maxi (the two house dogs) sweet as ever. If we go to bed very quickly away both dogs and when they will search you can find them under our bed. If we Schlafzimmertuer have closed then both want to be covered by Marlen as compensation - no kidding (photos will follow ).... otherwise we are now waiting on it for 'Tassie' is

long-awaited update ...:)
Lake Wanaka, on the way there were countless small Rasplätze overlooking sleepy mountain lakes.
For a change, there was also an endless, deserted beaches and dream rock formation known as the Australian
12 apostles.
19/10/2010 in extreme rain arrived around noon wr in Queenstown. Since it was too much rain to stay all day in the small camper we have been searching for accommodation. So get out Laptop -> Internet Stick infected (the technology makes possible) and see there is a 4 **** hotel for only $ 90, man must say the minutes of the Camping Ground. Costs $ 30 and you're bound to its campers. Thus we have given summarily supplements to a wedding this overnight. The best we had yet been upgraded to a lake J Despite the rain, Queenstown is a Magnificent City. Right next to a huge lake and surrounded by beautiful mountain.
23/10/2010 We slept until about 8 clock we drove to a quick breakfast and a small health unit proceeds to Mount Cook. On the way there we passed a lake that had such a great blue mad that you could hardly believe his eyes - Indescribable. Therefore, you see just the photos, they are more powerful than these words! The mountain was rather unspectacular, because you could not make any more and we are the budget tourists and not afford guided tour, we have again made the trip. Our goal was to visit the famous Shepherd Chapel, which Mr. Mc Kinsey in honor of his dedicated and loyal friend who died (his dog) as a monument. Unfortunately, this was extremely crowded, but we did catch a small glimpse into the interior. The chapel was located further also to a small lake, this was the same as that previously furtive blue. To a small picnic area has a Kiwi coffee sold in order thus to earn his living, this told us that the blues comes from the glacier water. Somehow logical! As we were excited enough about the Asians armed with a camera had, we went a bit further to give us the lake to look more closely. There we took some photos (see below). Total overwhelmed, we have in our Auto gezwungen und sind weiter gefahren, das nächste Ziel hieß Timarau. It was a great weather, perfect for a walk. The city was great, something small and located on the beach. She had a sports and leisure facility for young and old-right, to lose a few pounds, only we have too little time. - We have therefore taken on the way back to our camper for a pizza, after all, we have not eaten since Australia is not everything! The pizza then we have enjoyed with a glass of wine and a borrowed DVD of the campsite. Later we had a shower and then are still in the Hela.
After a long Time is now an extensive update our time in New Zealand.
10/11/2010 To celebrate Marlens birthday was it homemade lasagna and tiramisu. To dinner then came two friendly neighbors of Yelena.
10/12/2010 Since we need for our future travel a car we had already searched the Internet for potential candidates - today we went to view. It has one again realized how beautiful pictures can be on the Internet and what a difference it makes to see them live and smell ! Sometimes there were cars in which the opening of the door, half a liter of water to meet him ... so it will smell too ... who loves the fish market for this would be just the thing was J Our luck was that Campbell not only a little but it has really much of an idea, the supposedly super cars (which we had also purchased now) have been broken by him in the air, for the cost of hidden Repairs would have been enormous. After a further 15 Beusuch outrageous dealer we are frustrated and went without a new car home. When parking on Campbell's Mercedes we saw on the opposite side of the road (at the house of Yelena's friends who were also Marlens birthday) to sell a Toyota Land Cruiser with a shield and a price that was within our price limit. We asked Campbell if he would like to look at the car, but he meant exactly knows that this car has been maintained so well that a check from him would be a waste of time. We have looked at the car and were not exactly thrilled at first! He is a 4 Wheel Drive (AWD so a vehicle with the You can also drive on the beach), has enough room to sleep, random way, the birth date of 10/11/1989 - that is, the same day as the coronation Marlen birthday and what he is even has a DVD player inside J What one says - you drive all day through the city in search of a car, instead it would only have to go over the road. For all the effort and time that Campbell has invested in the search for the car we have this "Schulzi" called (this is our nickname for Campbell)
13/10/2010 This was not much going on, we made only the most recent purchases for New Zealand, and otherwise do our things packed
14/10/2010 We are on 10.14.2010 - 16 New Zealand Time Clock landed in Christchurch. The flight was breathtaking. Since we had good weather, we can enjoy the fascinating view of the Southern Alps, simply fantastic. On the same day we pick up even more come to enjoy our car can be. This was already provided with some scrapes and bumps, but otherwise in good shot.
At an estuary located on one side the water to the other the mountains, magnficent! There we have also purchased the first Souvenirs (Kiwi + Patch Road Sign). There we have a nice lady said that we park anywhere if we are even on the customer car park J ... Later, we set out to find a place to sleep, that we promptly found 19:45 (in a beautiful woodland setting ) - then: Food made, washed, and urinating in the woods ...:)
be freed 16/10/2010 After the second night had nowhere to the first slices of frost, so cold it was the night. On the other carriers did Daniel use his newly acquired cigarette lighter charger for his computer ... we could soon be looking not at the first lights were already in the car. According to1 hour desperate search and countless curses were later helped us at a gas station. The reason it was a fuse had given up the ghost. So, I immediately bought a few backups in reserve (which also have almost been used up later)
In the course of the day we arrived in Westport and will have a super campsite found by the sea. Later we are still rumgefahren something and have delicious cookies in a different spot with super sea views geknappert
17/10/2010 It was then that the ride in the rain with rain Franz Josef Glacier. On the way there we made a quick stop at the Pancake Rock (the heist so that die Gesteinsschichten wie viel uebereinander gelegt Eierkuchen aussehen.

10.20.2010 In the morning it went for a walk in the botanical garden and anschliesend, the last buying souvenirs, including two made t-shirts for Daniel and an "I Love NZ" T-shirt for me. Ca. 13:30 we drove to Te Anau down, where we spent the night. Right on the street, which was very loud! The city itself, however, was very beautiful.
21/10/2010 Since we intended to Milford Sounds (this is a fjord landscape) there are approximately 7:30 and got us ready made. The owner of Camping Grounds said that we need to definitely snow chains for our journey. However, we have thought, fuck it - and are just down the way then also turned out, we need not promote them!. On the track, however, there was a tunnel that you can not imagine in life, at the sight of you have wondered whether it even had a building permit! Up to two fire extinguishers and some reflectors on the side (Note: there was no median strip!) there was not much! It has been thought that it will end - just walk towards the light or take in the fall! As you can see, we survived it and are back safe and come back. Milford Sound was breathtakingly beautiful. We took a small boat along the fjord, and were able to experience the unique vegetation. There were many small waterfalls that carry the water of a 1 million year old glacier. But that was fantastic, as our boat, about three, four meters long swimming dolphins - Fascinating! Shortly after we saw the dolphins we could also see another Avalanche Info in the mountains - what a great Kontrast.
22.10.2010 auf der Fahrt nach Dunedin wollte Daniel die Küste lang fahren -> 45 Minuten auf doofer Schotterstraße gefahren; Fahrt Dunedin -> doofe Stadt, Schloss nicht gefunden and admission was already too much, here I wanted to look at the penguin colony, but the road was gone with the car (despite 4WD) not to deal with, 1 hour of time lost, then we wanted to see the penguins in Oamaru - but these were too far away but the zoom was a first look possible, where was the campsite for the ass, we went to the next. found roller-coaster ride we have the most remote campground NZ history - After about 40 km. We had to put the feeling in the middle of a horror film - and what do you do when something is so not a bit fishy? TRUE, knocking off! There were playing small children who most likely murdered by the local mountain spirit 100 years ago were. Only thing missing was the famous film music, which should indicate that something terrible happened the same. Well, there as no children of sadness we have put ourselves on the way to the next place we certainly were an excellent place to get. Said - done in Oamarama we have once again placed on a Camp Top 10 (there is nothing like a 4 * campsite). Since this was a city that was on the way to our next destination, everything worked quite well - sunset.
23/10/2010 We slept until about 8 clock we drove to a quick breakfast and a small health unit proceeds to Mount Cook. 10/24/2010 8:30 aufgestandne we are about, have made us ready and went to Mc Donalds breakfast. For Daniel it was a delicious greasy sausages citizens and the Marlen three pancakes with syrup. Fresh start we have strengthened our drive to Hanmer Springs. On the way there is nothing special happens. Finally arrived (13:40), we have noticed that Sunday and, therefore, so many people were on the road. Short info, this place is famous for its thermal hot pools, and we wanted this really use it. Only then, we have decided to wait another day - in the hope that at a Monday is not quite so full! The car was parked and ready so we have once again made their way into the "city". There we filled our tummies us that we have seen a little bit. have Back of the accommodation We drank wine, ate what and DVD later seen (this time not top 10).
25.10.201 Because on this day was a tight schedule ahead of us we have about 1.5 hours, the famous hot springs enjoyed (up to 44 degrees). Then we went over to Arthur's Pass where we spend the night a nice place to find the lake ... and this time not a 4 **** Top Ten 10 Camping Ground but for free.
26.10.2010 In the morning it was then in the direction of Christchurch, where we should meet Campbell family. Since we still had some time we visited the south / eastern peninsula seen around the town of Akaroa. Then we went to Campbell's aunt, where even his mother and brother were waiting for us. After the first meeting there was a dinner, which was a really nice change from pizza to pasta and 3 minutes. Our last 2 nights we were allowed to sleep here.
27/10/2010 to see something of the city are we in the botanical garden and later went to the Art Gallery. Marlen was allowed on the way to go with Campbell's uncle in an absolutely brilliant MG vintage cars - that's just the women's bonus. Man could stomach seeing here many sites they removed the damage of the great earthquake. By the way, here are a day at least 15 earthquake of magnitude 3.5 - even in our first night there were some, but we have not noticed. Then we have something passed through the city. In the evening there was a dinner at the home of Campbell's mother.
28/10/2010 After the departure of Campbell's family went to the airport, where we have felt it our first minor earthquake J it feels as if a truck on a very short passes and that does not even take 2 seconds. On our arrival we were picked up by Campbell and we could a little later by C. finished our expanded "Schulzi" see, including equipment.
We hope this is enough .... first up soon and I'll read next week:)
