before last weekend, a sort of "rally" of AFS was made of win to it was one of four trips to various parts of the country you had to compete for two, and I have disputed the competition along with my contact person that was. Weiters habe ich Golf und Basketball gespielt, bin ziemlich viel gelaufen, habe aus einer Kokosnuss getrunken und Zuckerrohr gegessen und bin mit dem Motorconcho gefahren. Eine der vielen Challanges war, möglichst schnell 5 Bananen und drei so große Kokos-Kekse zu essen, zusätzlich eine kleine Flasche Cola trinken. Die Bananen gingen ja noch, das Cola auch, aber bei den Keksen fingen wir an zu schummeln: Shantel (meine Kontaktperson) hat ihren Teil im Ausschnitt verschwinden lassen, ich hab mir meinen in den Mund gestopft und draußen wieder ausgespuckt. (; Der ganze Tag war also ein riesen Spaß, war gut das ich mitgemacht habe! War zwar anstrengend, aber ich habe auch viel Neues von Santiago gesehen! (Fotos gibts auf Facebook!!)
Und in der Letzten Woche am Donnerstag kam dann ganz überraschend mein Gastvater von New York nach Hause. Es war überhaupt nicht angekündigt, ich kam ganz normal von der Schule nach Hause, klingelte an der Türe und ein fremder Mann öffnete mir. Ich muss vorausschicken, dass ich den Gastvater noch nie have seen only a photo, Jimmy sent me and that was a bit older! So back to the story: I am standing at the door, and opened a strange man. Aber noch ist es nicht so schlimm, dass ich zurück will, aber ihr wisst, dass ich an euch denke. (:
Und von den Dingen, die ich vermisse: Also ein gescheids Schwarzbrot mit ungesalzener Butter wäre echt wieder einmal nicht schlecht! Und auch das Wasser, das man aus der Leitung trinken kann! Wenn man durst hat, muss man hier immer zum Kühlschrank rennen! Das nervt vor allem dann, wenn man im Bad steht, überall Wasser um sich herum hat und Durst bekommt!
Mit dem Spanisch geht es eigentlich auch schon more progress, but it is still too poor to lead a conversation.
