Javjunkies What Happen ?

skewness shoes and workshops. In

My shoes have expired after the wrong bad Neubesohlung. The camping mattress is bent due to strong thorns a hole and 2 herring (from the metal, not from the sea) are. But I see an open morning at 8:00 clock shop. The old man takes the aluminum herring and knocks them "loving" straight.
Schuster I find no ... especially not on a Sunday.
But, car repair shops have no opening times. "Yes, no problem that I'm doing. With a cup of tea?" says a Turkish mechanic (he was 20 years in Switzerland). The locksmith
Flext my feet straight. It looks like it, like a black rubber (and smells so).
The man wants to know my profession. When I say
Bio-energetics, he wants to be treated.
No problem ... after that I invited a couple of days, but I must go on.
had a great time with you .. Ciao.

attack on Marlen ...:) ..

23/08/2010 (Mo) working

08/24/2010 (Tue) As Yelena birthday on Monday, we wanted her as a thank you buy for their hospitality and for the effort to plan a trip for us, and send a small gift. After searching the city was not successful, we walked to Bondi Junction. As Yelena and Campbell want to fly to Europe next year we bought a Lonely Planet Europe. On the return trip was as always a full break in the ... made so exactly in the Centenial Park.

08/25/2010 (Wed) under perfect 20 degrees (does not sound like much, but down here feel at higher and higher temperatures) was send it to the city center, the package for Yelena and then to sunbathe and relax in the Botanical Garden. Currently we have one major question: we fly at the end of our trip to Thailand and now but to New Zealand? After Thailand should always wanted to get "fast" but if you're already down here is because the Kiwis take? We now decide to carry NZ. We are expected from 14 - 28 October in New Zealand fly and travel time reasons only the South Island.

27/08/2010 (Fri) Since we had 2 tickets for the aquarium and the weather was not so intoxicating, we decided to deliver it. After the visit must be said the $ 25 admission is not justified! If I imagine that I see in the Leipzig Zoo virtually pay the same price (13 € entrance fee) and there was almost the same aquarium. I have only the latter will also have the elephant temple, etc. Pongoland. In the end we finished in about 1 hour, in Leipzig, we would indeed used all day. So the record for all: a look at Sydney not the wildlife park and the aquarium!
not only the ostrich burying its head in the sand
After the visit we are miserable -
Box Jellyfish (jellyfish) another while at the Darling Harbour made easy. When Marla is a biscuit was a seagull came suddenly from behind, leaning on her shoulder -> swiped in the (delicious) cookies and flew away. Total baff we looked at each other and started laughing. Earlier, we noted that about 1 meter behind us and we looked at a seagull. We were only thinking of nothing, since we schließlich an einem Hafen in Meer Nähe sind und hier immer ziemlich viele dieser Vögel herumfliegen und laufen.

In addition, exchanged a few more details on our later time in Brisbane. Marla Yelena also asked what they think of the story with the car - she thought the Campbell after a car looking for us. In their view, we find one in Brisbane (with buy-back guarantee) at a cheaper price. The good in the matter - an Australian skin are not so easily over the ear like a backpacker. Later, it was still time to buy a few things Bondi Junction and later work was announced for both.

you all a great week, enjoy the rainy weather dt:). FYI from Thursday to Saturday House Sitting back at / with Chester the word:)

Hola!                                                 Sunday 29 August, 19:30 local time after

first one excuse that I gave you just disregarded Sun But there again the whole week was school and the afternoon is really nothing happened. It turns slowly into our old routine: morning school to make the afternoon of the experiment, the homework.
But once again I'm gone twice this week Kino (cinema is going so anyway, the main activity when you get together with friends). Well, and it is also much cheaper than ours.
The week was actually quite good otherwise, just that we have now at the moment no more water. Actually, just no running water at all, only so to draw down with rain. Under the day are also repeatedly short blackouts, that is, the current falls out sometimes. It usually takes a few seconds, but (like me from Santo Domingo reported AFSL) as in his case last up to 3 hours or longer. Additionally, there was now a hurricane warning can also happen once! Although I now have no fear or anything, but me, it only matters how it works then. (;
In school you go I really really gut, ich verstehe halt nicht viel.
Bei euch allerdings geht die Schule auch bald los, ich persönlich gehe hier lieber in die Schule als zu Hause. Wirklich, ich freue mich schon am Freitag wieder auf die Schule. Allerdings eher auf die Leute als auf den Unterricht, aber es kommt mir hier nicht so schlimm vor, als bei uns. Vielleicht liegt das auch daran, dass es egal ist, was ich in der Schule mache, weil ich ja keine Noten bekomme! In der Klasse sind wir im übrigen 38 Leute, und wir haben alle so Tischchen wie in Amerika. Die sind so klein, dass man unmöglich sein Federpennal und das Heft und dann noch ein Buch drauf platz hat. Deswegen fällt auch laufend irgendetwas auf den Boden. Im Klassenzimmer sind auch vier Ventilatoren angebracht, weil es sonst zu heiß wäre. Natürlich gibt es da immer eine Meinungsverschiedenheit, wohin man den Ventilator drehen soll. Das führt dann zu Abmachungen, die exakt eingehalten werden müssen, weil sonst gibt’s Streit. (;

So, das was the report last week, all best wishes
Hanna

Spray Paint And Lungs

Tatü tata, the fire department is da ...

08/16/2010 (Mo) working

17/08/2010 (Tue) As I said we wanted to look at the second oldest city in Australia - Parramatta. To get there you drive 1 hour by boat on the Parramatta River or 40 minutes by train. We have added the train and return by ferry. Once there, we felt a bit like in Leipzig. The station has many similarities with the Leipzig Central Station - many new floors, a shop at the other and so on. After we walked through the Australian copy of the Leipziger walks we took a look at the city center. Here are many old, well for Australian ALT. Relations are 150 years old already, buildings which were once more and less successful time with new architecture into line. In the end it went along the river to the ferry terminal and the ferry. At the 1-hour return trip was a very nice overview of the huge number of different marinas in and around Sydney.
08/18/2010 (Wed) The weather at 22 degrees "to book, suggested the decision was quickly fixed - from the beach, Bondi Beach, there should be times again. As always, to do something for their health and to save your money, the whole distance on foot. As always, was our time to the beach, almost exactly 1:30 hours. After about 30 minutes on the Beach began to pull more and more and the clouds closed in and on. As we walked in nice warm, comfortable temperatures ahead, we had brought no warm clothes which are now avenged it. So we had no choice other than the beach, now at 15 degrees and wind chill to leave again. On the way back we went, as always, a stop in Centennial Park on the day The worst was the way back! It was not the distance of 7 km but in the what we see and what the senses perceive have / may. Imagine ... you walk down the street and it is Cloudy. Since there can of course be the rain and the water runs down the footpath. It may also be that someone washes his car or his shop clean and so does the water running down. ... Sydney is different! To explain: we walk in the direction of our hotel, after a while I notice that there very extreme stinks, it smells Marlen. After a few meters, we see before us a very wrecked person looks really run down, even for a bum to. At the same level we see that there is a woman, and runs from her a small yellow downhill after smelling urine stream. The rest of you think you can so quickly ... we walk past her and hope das uns der Bach nicht einholt. Nach etwa 1000 Metern Abstand, war kein Bach in sicht, vielleicht ist die Quelle leer oder vertrocknet. Jedenfalls setzt jetzt bei uns der Würgereiz rein und man muss echt kämpfen dass dieser nicht die Oberhand gewinnt.

19.8.2010 (Do) Arbeitstag

After running about 2 hours we had finally reached the Coogee Beach. After a day's drive from 8 km to Bondi Beach + another 5 km to Coogee Beach, we had earned the trip by bus. As a reward, we treated ourselves to a pizza from Dominos later:)
21/08/2010 (Sat) After our busy Walk sleep off the previous day we were glad, but no - it was time for our monthly fire alarm 6:30! Since we already think we could get rid of what is, we can not rush. All major Things (passports, Knollo, computers, etc.) at rest or cleaning, Marlen again sent to the toilet and then leisurely down the street. This time someone had the hair with hair spray, directly under the fire alarm made. This style could also then pay promptly with $ 1,000 penalty. For the price one might have to go Udo Walz and still had enough money left over had to buy beautiful.
Through the tumult, noise, etc., was the fire alarm fire alarm at 6:30 to sleep out of the question. A look outside revealed that we are a "bottler" (is Australian. Slang for a very enjoyable One day the store is best for us always want to put in a bottle), so gear and headed to the beach. Since we had found on the previous day as beautiful beaches, we decided to go to Bronte Beach. This was somewhat protected from the wind and had 2 "Rock Pool" (= these are usually natural or artificial pools in the sea, which are protected by rocks by the waves, so here is no current and the water is warmer). So we went back on foot from the hotel 8 km to Bondi Beach (as always on the Centenial Park), and from there 3 km to Bronte Beach. After a few hours of "sun worship` s "we went back home, and this time not mit dem Bus.
Panorama Bilder bom Bronte Beach
Following is the rest of the day went to the botanical garden for relaxing and sunbathing. As a small sideline we thought about what we eat first when we got back in Dtl. are: here is our Top 10:
  1. a bratwurst and also a ger beer and Konigsberg for Marlen a Mixery
  2. meatballs
  3. potato
  4. homemade pizza
  5. Greek food
  6. kebab from Brandis
  7. Kesselgoulasch
  8. bee sting
  9. a butter pretzel
  10. potatoes
That was it from our week, enjoying all the things we have listed and you think of us:)

love those at home! Tuesday 17. August, 22:09 local time after
Sunday was again a shopping spree announced that I had not yet bought my school shoes. Chiara told me the day before that they also had to buy their school supplies, and so we decided to go together. It then ran like this: I got up at half past eleven and gleefully went to shower (the Saturday was a long day and night). When I checked my mail, I Chiara wrote on Facebook, they would pick me up between 11:00 and 11:30 clock clock in my house. (Looking at the clock: 11:10). So I was ready within 10 minutes and waited and waited and waited .... I thought to myself, "Dominican time. If you switch off at 11:00 clock's clock is earlier than 12:00. "So I decided once again to check the mail, if she had not written me a message. And in fact, they asked me to come to her house. In the end, as I was with her, we left together at 13:00 clock. Well, Dominican time, what can you! At least I got the shoes for school.
was Monday announced home day, that we did nothing. Sunday is to add that with my work-out started, I think, a bit of cycling on the exercise bike can hurt anyone!
And today was my first day of school. Ask does not even know whether the whole school that I am the brain Hanna from Austria. I feel like a star. I go through the school, and everyone (but everyone really!) staring at me. (No, until now I was not asked for his autograph, but that is perhaps even more;]) jokes aside, but many want to chat with me waving at me and smile at me when I go where, if I translate help need of the English forms are the same few volunteers, and stood before my class today, people are constantly staring at me through the window in the door. Sometimes I would hope, just as normal as the others to be, because the feeling of being constantly stared at is really quite unpleasant! However, I've also met some nice people, unfortunately, all older than me, that I go to another Class it as. But I will certainly find fast friends!
Well, we still had to make an English test, so that we can be classified by language skills. In addition, tomorrow is the decision between art and music, and I'll take the former, as you can in art lessons for Christmas play at a theater.
So, I'll go to sleep now, because tomorrow it is already quite low in the early spring. You all good night,
Hanna

Hello!                                                 Samstag, Aug 14, 22:44 local time after

took place on Wednesday as planned shopping trip. The prices here are really low, except in transactions that are known internationally. What surprised me very much was that, for example: fashion chains like H & M, New York, C & A. .. are not represented here, and you have to shop at (even by our standards) expensive clothing brands. But again you get nachgeschmissen the shoes part. When passing I've seen in a store shoes for the equivalent of about 2 € (the quality you could see them from the outside in). If you want you can spend here but also 90 € for flip-flops.
Am Donnerstag ist eigentlich nichts wahnsinnig aufregendes passiert, außer dass ich zusammen mit Sarah, Genesis, Chiara, Max und Lea (Sie waren die Gastgeschwister von Jhonnerys when it was in Germany, and are now over the summer holidays were here to eat on vacation), and Jimmy Jhonnerys night sushi. Was quite good. (;
Friday we visited the cigar factory You can not go into the real big factory, but there is often a "showroom" where you can watch live how to make three employees cigars, I understand the guide, takes.. . it 9 months, until you are properly trained and can roll cigars on average is required for a cigar and a half minutes there are several steps, such as:. make the basic form, press switch, covers, and, and, and .... It was also explained that the covers mit einem speziellen Naturkleber angeklebt werden, der wie Wasser aussieht.
Hanna

Traveler Profile – Walking Martin

A long time ago we discussed the idea of posting about the people we meet when they have a different and compelling story. We've met many of these people, but have never written about any of them specifically. Martin, we feel, makes a good person to start with.

We met Martin at our hostel in Istanbul when we first arrived in Turkey. He had been there for about 10 days because, as he said, he had hurt his foot while walking. He seemed a nice enough guy but I found it odd that a grown man would be able to bear such an injury while enjoying museums and such and so I decided he just liked Istanbul and had become a semi-permanent resident of this hostel...something not terribly uncommon in our area of travel. When we got to talking a little later, I found just how completely mistaken I was.

Martin is walking from his home in Austria, all the way to Jerusalem. Istanbul is his halfway point.

Back home he drove an armored truck. He'd had some money saved and wanted to take an epic trip and started to research going to Africa and touring via bicycle or something like this. He did some research and all he could find were blogs about people driving through Africa,, much as we did. He happened on a blog of two Germans walking to Jerusalem. He loved the idea, and stopped reading there. He hasn't followed their route, just their idea.

The quest is something spiritual for Martin but it is not exactly a religious pilgrimage. He mostly walks without maps, instead following features like the Danube River the majority of the way so far. He stopped carrying a stove because he found that keeping food and fuel was too heavy and cooking too time consuming. He stops to sleep when he tires, in his own tent. He doesn't accept rides, he is walking, but is open to most other forms of hospitality. He says a lazy day is one where he sleeps in, talks a lot, and walks maybe 25km. The most he's done in a single day is 50km. By contrast, one of my proudest moments is when I walked 100km (62mi) in a single day, but I had a support team, no tent on my back, and didn't do anything the day before or after.

He was resting in Istanbul because he 'overdid' it as he rushed up to the Turkish border, over hills, from Bulgaria. It was still farther to go to Istanbul and I'm grateful he chose to stop there to 'freshin up' rather than elsewhere so that we could meet him. He keeps a journal and blog (in German) (http://www.weitenbacher.com/) so that he can maybe write a book when he is done, but otherwise has no stresses. Mostly he enjoys the slow pace that allows him to see things that would otherwise go unnoticed.

Gestern hingegen fuhren wir nachmittags zum Monumento a los Héroes de la Restauración where we went up. Just this time it looked much like thunder, hence the dark sky. But it was really nice because the temperature had dropped a little bit, and also blowing wind.
order to get up you have to climb 356 steps, and there are 4 floors, wherever a few pictures or figures are issued. (See pictures)
Then we went to the Calle del sol, it is very narrow and old shopping street that was full of people. Accordingly, we were progressing rapidly. After we went to Fortaleza San Luis. It is a old fortress, which was during the War of Restoration drama of many battles. Later, it was from this fortress and a prison in modern times it is a museum. Jimmy told me that it is also an illegal shelter for street artists.
for this afternoon is a shopping tour (according to European design) planned and I am looking forward to it.
love all greetings

Midnight Hot/unsensored

Gegen Rassenwahn - auch bei Kangals

took a few days ago in Bremen will be a purebred dog of the VDH. Very appropriate time, PETA has launched a new action, directed against racial madness in dogs. On Sense and Nonsense of the PETA is debatable. I also emphasize explicitly that neither this organization, I hereby advocate general, like to make accusations wants. But behind this action puts a real, important message, which is (totally independent of PETA) is absolutely worth mentioning.

The poster for the action is plentiful provocative - may be that PETA here in the eyes of some leans too far out the window. But by remembering to Germany's darkest chapter, it addresses only that, what is it about the whole breeding Lobby to create the perfect dog and get them as much supply. This is not restricted to certain dogs - even before Kangal deter racial delusions back. Meanwhile, thousands of pets are sitting in German animal shelters and the bars can voice their distress, because it seems certain obsession with beauty of the breeders have not been satisfied. For many of you to find freedom and a new home is in vain.

What's the sense in the breed? In principle, once the purpose is to obtain certain favorable characteristics of a species or develop. Not in itself irresponsible undertaking that is ultimately the point of evolution - but has nothing to do with the ambitions of today's farming industry. Often, dogs are given in shelters, suspended or even cruelly killed for their fur as not having the desired color shade (the one with the sale can not earn so much money). What does this have to do with breeding? Especially since many

to suffer today under the breeds in breeding of us have health problems. Besides the prime example of boobs are there as the shepherds, for hip dysplasia have become a real problem. Dobermans and Great Danes are struggling with heart problems and Golden Retrievers and Labrador suffer too often from arthritis. Can this be the meaning of discipline?

Short comparison: who finds his knee pretty? Probably no one. Then let it wegzüchten our knees. Then we can not run anymore, but at least we're this ugly part of the body going.

I think my message is clear. If you've decided and ready for this is a Kangal record should contact to nearby animal shelters - yes, many Kangal wait there, unfortunately - to "try" instead of the breeder. Everything is a product of supply and demand - if fewer would go to the breeder, they would no longer supply piecework "produce" and several females may escape a life as a breeding machine.

Hola!                            Montag, 9.
was for the next day was actually agreed that we would go to the beach, but was identified by Dominican Art: Yes, we go tomorrow to the beach means according to the European agreement, at some point we will go together to the beach because it was not. , I met with my host brother Jimmy with the AFS student from the party and their sisters and we went finally to the movies. The film was, thank God, in English, so I could understand something.
Here is not only the time a little different, but several things. For example: if you go to the movies, you buy the cards, and can sit anywhere. It give no fixed seats, which is fine on the one hand, because you can sit down to where you want, on the other hand it is silly if you have a bit late, and you can no longer sit together side by side. But we are lucky enough to be early enough to turn!
For today still had nothing concrete planned, I'll see how the day developed, and it tell you in the next entry.
love Until then, greetings,
Hanna

ps: to the parents: Please retrieve your mail, I sent you something!

5.Eintrag

Hello! ; Saturday 7 August, 1100 after time
From Friday to Saturday I had AFS camp. We really had fun and I met a couple of AFS students closer. Despite the program (where we learned some very useful things) we had plenty of free time that we used in different ways. Since we were staying in a private villa, which even had a pool, I was swimming most of the time. The cooling was really good because it was extremely hot. Therefore, the pool was usually packed!
Well, that was the summary report of the last two days,
love all greetings
Hanna
