Implantation Bleeding At Five Weeks

14th Entry

Hello my friends! Sunday, November 7, after 6:39 local time
Time goes by very quickly here, somehow, you lose sense of time here. For about a week I went shopping, and then the supermarket was a Christmas booth set up .... with snow, winter landscape, Christmas trees And it was with me at once so a short trailer: Wait a minute, the sun is shining bright outside, it has 30 degrees in the shade, you sweat like the sow, and there are Christmas trees!? Uuuups, we have already November !!!!! Despite the climate here LOVE the people in the Dominican Republic Christmas, and start already (like us) to fish out the Christmas decorations. You lose this time entirely to the survey ... constantly good weather and sunshine ... So summer is around the clock (at least to my mind) glory! However, the last few days were pretty wet and stormy, because a hurricane has just moved across the country. And some will surely think of now: Oh my God, a hurricane! But do not fear, for me it was as simple as a few days of bad weather with us!
And the hurricane was also thank the AFS camp this week quite literally in the water! Well planned was this: From 2 November to 6 November AFS Camp to Pico Duarte (with 3098 meters the highest mountain in the Caribbean). The detailed program was: The first day was a visit to the waterfall baguette planned. On the second day of the first day of the ascent had been planned to Pico, to the hut a little below the summit. On the third day it would climb up the summit and then descended to the hut and was on the fourth day as day one down the mountain again. And then as the grand finale Rafting would have been planned. In the end, it was then only two days because the National Park was closed because of the storm .. So we were just at the waterfall and the next day rafting.
And I'm from another AFS student heard that she had a talk in school about AIDS, where it is said, among other things, was that they had AIDS, if they had blue fingers. This sounds at the beginning of really funny, but basically it tragic how little know to have here. And I think the two lectures were each by a doctor from the Department of! And otherwise one constantly on things that, while initially funny but basically bad: for example: I was once asked by someone where I am, I replied, from Europe, and I was asked where Europe is. So I think I've learned a lot, and above all, that our progress in Europe should not take so much for granted! We are very truly happy that we are in a good position so!
I hope you all are there good, I'll get up now to shower and have breakfast then go greetings
Hanna

The still is a picture of the waterfall, down we were swimming ( yes it was freezing cold!)
